We're coming off a season with two Mid-Monmouth championships — now it's your turn to join the team. Register first, then come try out.
Register for Tryouts Registration is required before attending — via TeamSnapEvery team gets two tryout sessions. Arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Sessions run 5:00–9:00 PM on the dates below.

A few essentials for tryout day.
You must register on TeamSnap before attending a tryout. Tryouts themselves are free.
Plan to check in about 15 minutes before your session starts.
29.5" (men's size) for Boys 12U & 13U. 28.5" (women's/intermediate size) for all other divisions.
Travel basketball is open to age-eligible Rumson residents. Players try out for the division matching their birth year, per Mid-Monmouth League rules.
Try to attend both sessions for your age group to maximize your chance of making the team. Can't make a session? Let RTBC know in advance.

Rumson Travel Basketball's mission is to offer a high level of developmental training in a professional, fun, and safe environment — and a more challenging level of competition for our athletic youth — while encouraging players to compete alongside their friends and classmates, within the age requirements set by the Mid-Monmouth Basketball League.
Travel basketball is more competitive than Rumson Recreation Basketball and represents a significant commitment for players and families. RTBC fields one team per age group, Boys and Girls 8U through 13U, competing each season within the Mid-Monmouth League.
Rumson Travel Basketball is operated by the Rumson Basketball Association, Inc., a New Jersey 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.
RTBC is the pipeline into Rumson-Fair Haven Regional Bulldogs basketball — the training ground where our players develop the skills, competitiveness, and love of the game they'll carry onto the RFH courts.
Rumson brought home two Mid-Monmouth Championships this past season. Congrats to the Boys 12U team (2025–26 Fall champions) and the Boys 8U team (2025–26 Winter champions)! Come be part of the next one.
